We Put Pirros Inside Revit. Here's How It Works.
What would your day look like if you never had to leave Revit to find a detail or family? That's the idea behind Pirros in Revit, our new sidebar that brings the full Pirros library into Revit. Search your standards and past projects, open your personal and firm stashes, and drag details and families straight into your model, all without switching windows. In this session, we'll show you how it works, live. Head of Product Strategy Ross Wagner will walk through the sidebar step by step, so you can see exactly how it fits into a normal day in Revit. Then Head of Engineering Isaac Nemzer will share how the team built it, what they heard from customers along the way, and how that feedback shaped the final result. We'll also give you a first look at the refreshed Pirros platform, a cleaner, more modern interface designed to make everything easier to find and faster to use. Most BIM managers didn’t take the job so they could spend their day answering Slack messages that say “do you have that detail?” or “which family should I use?” But that’s often what the role becomes.
